Round 2! For the regulars, welcome back. If you’re new here, you can check out Issue 01 (gifts for the home!) right here. This one’s a personal favorite as I shop for gifts in this category often – hi, Ellen❤️‍🔥. I’ve hit some gift-giving home runs and had one great miss with Ellen, personally – a handmade coupon for a fire pit that never happened for a birthday. Yoinks!

But, I’ve gathered my learnings and continued with a streak of SERIOUS BANGERS, and hope I can help you all find something for someone you love. Before we dig in, I will start by saying that if any of these gifts make you think of someone on your list who is not a girl, go for it! The same goes for the “gifts for him” guide that’s coming later this week. There are many things on both lists that would make thoughtful gifts for anyone, regardless of gender.

Also, I’m adding a key to this guide to mark gifts that I think would work well for a significant other (any of these could be sig other gifts, some just lean more in that direction) as well as gifts that are things used and loved by Ellen.

Ellen recently got a jewelry organizer similar to this one, but after seeing this from the MOMA store, thinks this one is better. And this cat ring holder speaks for itself (a great gift for someone who recently got engaged or just wears lots of rings)

This analog journal is really wonderful- with prompts, list-making exercises, and specific observations to help with reflection. I think this would be a very sweet gift for a sister or best friend.

Two camps for jewelry gifts - staples they will wear every day and things like the above that feel more occasional - these are the latter!

Since I don’t have social media, sometimes Ellen lets me know what is “in style”. A recent briefing included Mary Janes (to which I agreed). Also, these slippers are a great alternative to the classic fuzzy house shoe. Ellen approves!

Large Market Tote ($88)

I really like this gift for anyone who often shops at a farmers market, orrrrrr lives in a city and has to lug their groceries. It has a dedicated compartment for eggs!

A kid would hate either of these, but an adult would not. Ellen really loves both of these items and I think gifting underwear (even basics like these) is inherently flirty. 

Coconut Milk Bath ($36) + Shower Steamers ($25)

This milk bath has very few ingredients - which I like! Also, it comes in a milk carton - which I like! And this shower steamer set contains multiple scents with different benefits.

Silk Sleep Mask ($50) 🎀 + Dry Gloss Manicure Kit ($54) 🎀

This sleep mask is nice and thick + it’s washable. For the bare hands gift set – Ellen asked for this for Christmas a few years back and has really enjoyed it.

Staub Cast Iron Sauté Pan ($149, on sale)

I’m vetting this one – this is my favorite thing I own. When cooking at home, I use this 9/10 times. I also love to sit this on the table and serve out of it. A great gift for anyone who loves to cook.

Wool top + waterproof backing or puffy nylon - take your pick! The important thing here is THE STRAP. Also, the wool option can be embroidered with your park girl's initials or star sign.

Cactus Flower Exfoliant ($32) + Perfume Mini Collection ($45) ❤️‍🔥

I did a decent amount of research for this one - and this scrub topped a lot of best-of lists. And I think a scent sampler is a fun gift - variety, baby!

Turtleneck Collar Knitting Pattern ($5) + Fancy Shmancy Gloves ($99)

I like this for someone who is crafty or knits! I would just throw in the yarn needed as well - the pattern gives details on what yarn + needles you need. I like these gloves for anyone who lives in a walking city. (also, they are touchscreen compatible.)

I walk to yoga and use straps to carry my mat. But having something with a pocket for my phone would be helpful! Maybe you know someone like me?

I think a nice sweater is always a great gift. I liked the rolled neck of this one, feels classic enough for anyone’s wardrobe.

I’m imagining an older sibling gets this for their younger sister who just moved into her first apartment. Sike - she’s the handyman now!

I like this for a best friend or a significant other. You can order them in the same size, or two different sizes so you could wear one and they wear the other.

Like fun jewelry - I think a fun little bag is a good gift for someone who has all of their basics covered.

Can’t go wrong with this one. Solid 14k gold! Wanna take it further - add a locket and put your tiny little face in it.
